Job Description
Job Title : Sr. Maintenance Technician Electrician/Mechanic
Reporting To : Plant Maintenance Manager
Relief : Maintenance Technician Electrician/Mechanic
Mission : To provide maintenance support
to all plant and equipment, so as to minimize Production downtime and to perform scheduled PM’S
in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform PM’S on all plant and equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain PM Logs on all plant and equipment.
- Perform emergency maintenance on all plant and equipment when required.
- Make adjustments to equipment as requested by an operator or the Shift Supervisor.
- Must follow FDA , Military and AMD rules and regulations.
- Must follow GMP, and Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) of all equipment.
- Must follow the Safety procedures as set down in the manufacturer’s manuals for all plant and equipment.
- Must follow the QA department's direction on quality issues.
- Advise the Maintenance Manager immediately of any abuse or misuse of equipment or plant.
- Maintain compressor room logs.
- Maintain generator logs for both camp and plant.
- Follow the maintenance SOPs on parts inventory, inventory room and workshop.
- Report any violation of the SOP or Health and Safety procedures to management immediately.
- To attend all Health & Safety meetings.
- To attend all Staff meetings.
- Ensure that all equipment, machines, auxiliaries, and facilities are safe, functional, and sanitary.
- Supervise all staff in the Maintenance department.
- Direct appropriate maintenance personnel to daily task schedule and problematic areas.
- Ensure work performed is done by qualified personnel, with pertinent PPE and in accordance with GMP’s and Sanitary SOP’s.
- Ensure that all work orders are processed and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain an accurate Spare Parts Register, ensuring that all necessary parts and maintenance materials are ordered, received and inventoried.
- Ensure all maintenance performed is properly documented.
- Ensure that all tools and maintenance materials are in good condition.
- Maintain all PM Programs and materials.
- Communicate any and all maintenance issues with the Plant Maintenance Manager.
- Communicate immediately to the Plant Maintenance Manager any issue that will adversely affect the plants ability to meet the production schedule.
General
- Perform Safety and Equipment Training sessions with maintenance personnel.
- Report any violation of the SOP or Health and Safety procedures to the Plant Manager immediately.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Management.
- To attend all meetings as required.
Experience Required
- Industrial Electrical experience including controls, troubleshooting and installation.
- Complete understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics driven systems.
- Effectively troubleshoot via control prints and OEM manuals
- Proper use of hand tools
- Mechanical systems experience
- Welding / fabrication
- Air compressor experience up to 40 bar
- Conveyor systems experience
- Blowmolding experience is a +
- Siemens experience is a +
- Filler / Capper experience
- Reverse Osmosis experience is a +
- Lockout / Tagout procedures
- MUST SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH
